Objective
Transform an unstructured website of 600+ URLs into a scalable information architecture that could support multiple products, content types and future growth.

My Contribution

  • Audited and categorized 600+ existing URLs into 16 meaningful content categories.
  • Designed a structured silo architecture connecting product landing pages, feature pages, pricing, templates, documentation, product blogs and global content.
  • Created meaningful hierarchical URL paths instead of flat/unstructured URLs.
  • Structured supporting sections such as policies, careers, affiliates, FAQ, brand assets, services and company information.
  • Consolidated overlapping sections where appropriate to reduce unnecessary URL/page fragmentation.

Result
Built a scalable, product-led site architecture where multiple products could be launched and organized under a single website with meaningful URL structures.

The new structure also created clearer relationships between products, features, documentation and content, making the site easier for search engines and AI systems to crawl, understand and discover.

Key Takeaway
Gained hands-on experience in designing large-scale information architecture and SEO-friendly URL structures for a multi-product website.
